Secure in Our Salvation
Hannah Blake, St. Nics, Sevenoaks
We know that Christ achieved salvation for sinners at the cross, but sometimes we lack the confidence that we are included in that. How can we be sure that we are saved? In this seminar, we’ll examine what the Bible says about faith, obedience, and the work of the Spirit, and how we can have certainty of our standing before God.
Secure in Relating to our
Jane Wackett, Rochester Baptist Church
Families, whatever form they take, are where we learn to navigate relationships. When we become a Christian, we are adopted into a new family with the glorious differences that we all bring. This may challenge our expectations of what ‘family’ should look like; nevertheless it is God's gift to us, a place to work out our salvation. In this seminar, we will explore how understanding our relational style can help us navigate our church relationships, allowing us an opportunity to grow in unity and reflect something of God's glory in our church communities.
Secure in God's Design for Gender & Identity
Ellie Orchard, Emmanuel, Canterbury
What does the Bible say about being male and female? How is this echoed and opposed in the culture around us? In this seminar, we will look at the wisdom and goodness of God's design and explore ways of responding to gender ideology in different contexts, e.g. institutions, such as schools and the workplace, and in more personal conversations with friends and family.
You will need to choose your seminar option when booking your ticket. If you are making a group booking, please provide the seminar option for each individual.
